Blog on Christmas EP by Dorothy and Raymond Scott

Sinclair Oil Company gave their dealers an EP record album entitled, Season's Greetings in Song which contained 4 Christmas songs by Dorothy Collins which was produced and directed by her husband Raymond Scott.  The record label indicated Dorothy as a Top Rank artist.  It is believed that this record was given out during the 1958 Christmas season as Dorothy had left the Coral label and released her Christmas album by Everest Records in 1958 and had moved on to the Top Rank label.  The songs included Jingle Bells, White Christmas, Deck the Halls and Oh Holy Night.

Article on Last Telecast of Oldsmobile Musical Theater

Here is an interesting article on Dorothy Collins indicating that within the short span of three weeks she will have presided over the final rites of two television series---which must be some sort of record.  Read this short article by Don Royal.  I have been unable to obtain any video or other media regarding this last show.  It would be great to have a video of this last Oldsmobile Musical Theater.
